The Reformation did not erupt from nowhere. It was the harvest of a long recovery — of Scripture, of grace, of the gospel — carried across centuries by men and women who paid the price for what Wittenberg would later proclaim. This is a record of those shoulders.

Therefore let us also, having so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, put away every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and run with endurance the race which is set before us…
